Making Research Count at York is seeking a new co-ordinator. Our current co-ordinator, Stephanie Lacey, is leaving in April which will leaves the 0.4 FTE post vacant.
The co-ordinator’s role is to develop, set up and co-ordinate the delivery of a regional programme of events which bring researchers, practitioners and managers together to discuss research findings and their implications for policy and practice in social care and social work.
We are looking for someone who can help us to maintain our strong relationships with our partner local authorities and work with our academic staff to put together a relevant, varied and stimulating programme. The post holder will have knowledge of research dissemination and knowledge transfer, and experience of working in social care settings. It’s a varied job which requires creativity, but the post-holder has the potential to positively influence social care and social work practice in the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
