The Social Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of York tomorrow launches a series of lunchtime seminars on Social Research in the Digital Age. I have been asked to kick off the series with some thoughts on the role of social media in social research.
To widen participation in tomorrow’s seminar, please click here to view the presentation which I will be using. (The presentation was developed on prezi.com so may not work on mobile devices, though I have been told that there is an app for iphones.)Â There will be live tweeting from the seminar using #spru2013 so, short of online streaming, there will be opportunities to engage in the discussion.
So, if you are able to, please follow and engage with the discussion on twitter #spru2013 from 1.15 to 2.15 pm tomorrow (5th February).
The podcast of the seminar can be downloaded here (Right click this link and select ‘save link as’ (Google Chrome) to download the file. The command may vary for different browsers)
